Ventana, DBS has hired facadeTek to supply over 275,000 square feet of custom designed structurally glazed unitized curtain wall materials for the new Dominion Workplace Tower in downtown Richmond, VA. The 417-foot-tall, 960,000-square-foot energy-efficient building is expected to be completed in 2019. The exterior façade has a complex stainless steel pipe and truss system that will be integral to the unitized wall system as well as a bold glass crown that will highlight the geometry of the tower. There are over 4,300 curtain wall units with over 2,300 units being shop installed with the custom stainless steel trusses and pipes for seamless installation. Design of this world class facility is by Pickard Chilton and Kendall Heaton Associates. Visual and performance mock-upsa re successfully Work will commence in Q3-2017 and continue into 2018.
facadeTek will supply 135,000 SF of custom fabricated unitized curtain wall system and 12,000 SF of glazed composite metal panels. The 550,000 square foot building will house McDonalds Corporation regional HQ. There are over 2,100 curtain wall unit and 1,100 composite panels need to enclose this project. It will also feature prime retail along Randolph Street, public spaces and indoor parking. The building is designed to meld into the Fulton West industrial area with a mix of brick, precast, and multiple types of curtain wall systems. Design of the building is being led by Gensler. FacadeTek work will begin in June 2017.
National Enclosure Company-(NEC) has selected facadeTek as the Design Assist manufacturer of 90,000 SF/1,100 units of custom multi-plane terra cotta unitized curtain wall. This new University of Michigan Biological Science Building will house research laboratories, associated support functions, offices, classrooms, vivarium services and four museums. Design development has been initiated and a performance mock-up will be manufactured in Q1-2016 with subsequent project units being delivered in Q2-2016. Project design teams are Smithgroup JJR Inc. & Ennead Architects LLP. Construction is being led by Barton Malow Company.
Harmon has partnered with facadeTek to supply supplemental fabrication to help expedite (2) signature healthcare projects. Specific work being performed is fabrication of specific parts on (1) project and complete fabrication on a phase of the other. These types of partnerships allow our customers more flexibility to utilize their own resources for specific tasks as well as accelerate their own schedules.

We are happy to announce that façadeTek has been selected to provide design and fabrication services on behalf of Ventana Design-Build Services with Power Construction acting as the Construction Manager for the Northwestern University School of Management project located in Chicago, IL. This monumental project consists of 155,000 SF of custom unitized curtainwall for which façadeTek will be providing the design, fabrication and glazing of units for install by Ventana. Building design provided by KPMB Architects-Toronto, Canada.
facadeTek has been hired by Ventana, DBS to supply over 38,000 square feet of custom designed structurally glazed unitized curtain wall materials in St Louis, MO. The project incorporates an articulating CW strategy that creates many offsets in elevations and sections.
This new 190,000 sf building will be home to many varied uses. The first floor will include a large dining hall, reception area, and gymnasium for STLCOP competitive sports. The second floor will have additional seating for the dining hall, meeting rooms, and an intramural gymnasium. A recreation center with a 200-meter, three-lane indoor track will be the main feature on the third floor.

facadeTek was selected by NGG of St Louis to supplement their current production efforts. façadeTek's immediate capacity, familiarity of design and our ability to supply multiple ancillary products made this selection easy for NGG. This project consists of 68,000 square feet of unitized curtainwall.
The Westport Plaza headquarters will be 210,000 SF building and 763-space five-level parking garage to accommodate 1,000 employees. The project includes modifications to the existing lake and traffic circulation.
The scope of work includes fabrication of unit parts, assembly and glazing of the (1,000+/-) multiple size units. This work will commence in Q1/2-2016. Design of this facility is by M+H Architects-Chicago, IL.
We are proud to be hired by Enclos Corp to supplement their current production efforts. façadeTek's immediate capacity, familiarity of design and our high level of quality control made this decision a seamless operation for Enclos. The scope of work includes fabrication of custom unit parts as well as assembly and glazing of over (900) operable units. This work has commenced and early shipments have been made. This work will be ongoing at least through November 2013.
October 2012-facadeTek is in full production of the (650+) 10'-0" x 8'-0" custom unitized window wall units. Nearly 18 floors are complete and shipped to our customer. Work will continue through the 4th quarter of 2012.
façadeTek has been selected to design, manufacture and test a custom unitized widow wall replacement system for the Knights of Columbus World Headquarters in New Haven, CT. The project consists of over 1,300 units that will enclose over 90,000 square feet of openings. Custom attachments and closures were required to accept the specified building movement and deflections. Testing is completed and manufacturing has started.
