This project consists of a major renovation of an existing structure completed in 1912 as well as two ( 2 ) new complimentary hotel buildings. The 422 room Plant Riverside development is highlighted by the renovation of the Georgia power plant located on the West end of River Street in the National Historic Landmark District. This historic building is being revitalized into an ultra-chic hotel delivering an electrifying “Hostess City” experience.
facadeTek work will consist of restoration of steel / wood windows, new storefront systems, stick-built curtainwall, entry doors and interior glass systems. We are in the process of finalizing the site operations as it relates to our workforce, timing, and scope of work for local partners. Overall façade square footage is approximately 72,000 SF. Our customer is Hunt Construction Group. The design collaboration includes Sottile & Sottile, Campo Architects and PVFS Architecture. facadeTek will begin work on this new project will begin in Q1-2017 and finish in Q2-2018.
